David James, Head Golf Professional, PGA, MP
David James fell in love with the game of golf at age 12 when he birdied his very first hole. After High School and Community College, David attended Loyola Marymount University, where he also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In 1985 David arrived at Chaparral Country Club and with his credentials earned a position as Head Golf Professional. In 1994 he earned his PGA Master Professional status and in 2001 was voted Desert Chapter Golf Professional of the year. David has dedicated his life to teaching the game, becoming a USGA rules expert and organizing men’s, women’s and couples tournaments for Chaparral.
